Reviews and Ratings
The hotel had a very large room with a big en-suite but needed redecoration and looked run down; service was inconsistent, with rude tones and slow responses; the location was good for exploring nearby beaches; the dining experience was excellent with quality ingredients; the facilities were okay but lacking in some areas.
The hotel is conveniently located for visiting the southern tip of Cornwall and is a short walk from town. The rooms are big but a little dated, in desperate need of refurbishment. The service was under pressure but good, even when I was the only guest for breakfast. The location is superb, close to Cornwall's main attractions without paying main attraction price tags. The dining experience was usual and decent. Unfortunately, there was an amount of mould present in the ceiling over the bathroom area.
I was pleasantly surprised by the spacious room with a four-poster bed, offering comfort beyond my expectations. The service was incredibly friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond. The location was perfect for exploring Cornwall beaches, and the dining experience, although a bit pricey, was of very good standard.
